The Gym & STudio at LSTC
OUR GYM
Our gym is the perfect environment for getting and staying in shape. The gym is packed with a variety of fitness equipment, offers a FREE fitness assessment for all members and our staff and freelance personal trainers are on hand to help if you need a gym programme written or need additional support with personal training.
The personal trainers have a great reputation for guiding and supporting people in achieving a healthy lifestyle. If you need help with nutritional advice, have a sports injury that could benefit from strengthening exercises or maybe need some advice on how best to train in the gym, our personal trainers offer many different options and start up packages to help.

OUR STUDIO
Our studio is light and airy and has accommodated a variety of classes over the years. Currently the studio is booked out weekly for ballet, yoga, postnatal fitness and pilates.
As well as classes the studio is also available to hire for private meetings or training days with the option of using the downstairs café area to breakout in. Onsite parking is free and the club is easily accessible with a lift to the upper level of the Club where the studio is located.
If you are interested in hiring the studio, we charge £17 per hour and booking requests should be emailed through to frontdesk@lstc.org.uk

I started working here at the tennis club as a Personal Trainer back in March 2020, I also run a fitness class for local mums in the Studio every week and worked part time as Duty manager for a year too. I have also been a coach for the DRH Sports summer camp here at LSTC, and my two boys are members who have regular tennis lessons, so I’m definitely not a new face to the club. I absolutely love living in Letchworth and being part of this fantastic club which I believe is a wonderful place for our community and we’re extremely lucky to have these excellent facilities on our doorstep.
Being active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is my passion, please come and ask me if you are interested in any PT or would like any health, fitness or nutritional advice and I will be more than happy to have a chat with you.

I started training when I was 15 years old and have spent my life both in the gym and out in the country running, cycling, and swimming.
I have spent over a decade working in the armed forces and Fire-brigade and I’m currently a full-time fire fighter based in Hertfordshire. During this time, I have upheld my fitness to the highest standard and have helped friends and colleagues to do the same. I have built up a huge amount of knowledge in many avenues of fitness and training. Last year I decided to try and put this knowledge into action and help even more people through personal training and coaching.
I am incredibly empathetic to everyone’s needs and understand the constraints of modern life that may be emplace that can hinder peoples fitness goals. I have a wide range of clients already from all walks of life and tailor training to their individual needs. So, if your goal is to train for your first iron man or to just gain some gym confidence I am here to help.
I put a huge emphasis on the mental health benefits of training and staying fit, healthy body, healthy mind. I believe that targeted goals are the best to get a client the results they want.
I promote a healthy approach to eating for both weight loss and weight gain. All of my training is specialised and structured to the client’s individual needs.

I have worked with many clients just like you who have felt frustrated, overwhelmed, and helpless. I love working with beginners and those who have failed in the past because I was once a beginner too!
I am a certified Personal trainer and a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist which means if you have a niggle or pain then I may be able to help. I also hold certifications from NASM for Youth Exercise specialist, which has helped me to train young sports players to improve their game through fitness. I am also a very enthusiastic football coach and have been involved with this sport since my own boys started many years ago.

Club membership gives you access to all Club facilities, tennis, squash, and the gym. If you are a tennis or squash member and wish to upgrade your membership, please do contact our reception, it takes a few minutes, there’s not a huge jump in cost and its extremely good value.
